My Soul

Oh my soul, 
There are days intertwined by fate 
to taste what is missing
to the heart. 
Grant yourself the honor of courage, 
welcome with dignity and quiet strength 
each falling tear, 
for you are living flesh
and pulsating blood, 
temple of authentic feelings. 
Remember to get up, always, 
to hold out your hope 
As long as the breath holds, 
until the song of a future victory 
will rise in the wind. 
My soul, do not give in to sadness,
Even if the flowers are absent in the meadow 
and the trees touch the sky 
with dry branches, 
your hands, though empty, 
They guard the seeds of wisdom. 
After every storm, 
the sun will come back to kiss you. 
Do not fear the time that flees,
Be patient, have faith, 
and you will find a new light 
in the joys that will come, 
Joys that will illumine your days 
like stars defying diamonds, 
reflections of unforgotten dreams.
